America's Number One Pest - Controlled by Greenbug
Do you know what the Number One pest is in the United States? It is none other than the lowly ant.
More calls to pest control providers are for ants than any other pest. About half of all American households have ants at least once each year. Isn't that crazy?
With more than 1,000 species of ants residing in North America, it makes sense that they can infiltrate our homes and become the number one pest.
Many believe that ants are the hardest pest to control. That is because it typically takes multiple treatments, the likelihood of controlling an entire colony at a time is slim, and they reproduce with efficiency to keep annoying humans.
While many Ants do not bite humans, they are still considered pests because they infiltrate food stores and are an incredible nuisance. Who wants bugs crawling all over your countertops and up the walls? They can also compromise structures when colonies become firmly established.
Up until recently, chemical pesticides have been the preferred route for treating Ants but these man-made, synthetic toxins are losing the edge. Ants are becoming immune to these pesticides and coming back even stronger… like Super Ants!
So, how do you control Ants? All-natural Greenbug controls Ants!
Greenbug products have an active ingredient of Cedar. The very same cedar as your Grandmother’s cedar chest or cedar closet that NEVER had any bugs. That is because cedar controls bugs - yet is perfectly fine for humans, animals and beneficial creatures like honeybees and butterflies.
Here is how to control Ants using Greenbug:
- Follow the trail of ants to where it first presents itself. This is the interior entry point.
- Spray the ants and the area surrounding the interior entry point liberally with Greenbug Ready to Use or properly diluted Greenbug Concentrate.
- Locate the exterior entry point (if possible) where the ants are entering the structure.
- Spray the Greenbug Ready to Use or properly diluted Greenbug Concentrate at the exterior entry point thoroughly for several feet outward - to the left and right, up and down, side to side.
- Spray for three consecutive days to gain control.
- A heavy infestation may require up to 7 daily treatments.
- A heavy infestation may also have multiple exterior and interior entry points so treat them all.
- The Greenbug will control all the ants that are sprayed directly but the extra several days is to control future ants from entering. Keep in mind, these ants will now start to look for a new entry point… so as soon as you see any evidence of ants, spray as directed above.
