Pesticides Are Neuro-Toxins That Affect the Brain

Pesticides are poisons that are intended to kill pests. Unfortunately, deadly is deadly and there are way too many unintended victims of pesticides. In particular, human brains are particularly vulnerable which is an undeniable cause of Developmental Disabilities.

In the world of pesticides, the idea is to expose pests to a level of poison that is toxic enough to kill or seriously compromise them. These toxicants may force death immediately or they can cause irreparable harm somewhere else in the life cycle. Perhaps the pests are not able to reproduce, maybe they are unable to digest their food, or maybe they slowly dehydrate but the end result is the poisons are stopping the normal life cycle via a neuro-toxic interference.

A neuro-toxin is something that is harmful to the brain or brain function. Most synthetic pesticides in use today are leftover nerve gas technology from World War II. Nerve gas is deadly by affecting the brain or neurological system so a neuro-toxin is something toxic to the brain.

Of course the levels of pesticide poison are supposedly high enough to kill the pest but low enough so as not to affect any beneficial creatures. But noxious is noxious and they don’t just go away.

Nope, these synthetic death chemicals are now part of our world. They leech into the water supply, they accumulate up the food chain and they infiltrate into the cell structures of the remaining living creatures that come into contact with them. We ingest them, we absorb them and inhale them often completely unaware that we are taking in synthetic chemicals of death.

Synthetic chemicals are not able to be metabolized by mammals. That means that pesticides in human bodies are like plastic in the landfill – they never go away. So how do these toxic substances affect us?

Developmental Diseases, neurological problems, health concerns… Issues such as ADHD, Autism, and Alzheimer’s (to name a few) are all manifestations of compromised brain function. What better way to affect a perfectly healthy brain than to bombard it with neuro-toxins that are essentially poisons for the brain?

There are plenty of studies proving an undeniable link between pesticides and brain function. This is particularly true for children exposed in-utero to pesticide levels considered perfectly healthy for adults. Is it any wonder that the incidences of Autism, ADHD and Developmental Disability diagnoses are climbing?

It is very understandable that if you expose a healthy brain to poisons over a period of time, there will be consequences. Unfortunately, in the world of pesticides, there are many unintended victims being affected by these toxins.

For the sake of your brain, avoid synthetic pesticides. Instead, use Greenbug for all of your pest control needs. Greenbug is safe, green, completely natural and it works. There is no need for synthetic chemicals when safe, natural product like Greenbug works better and causes no side effects. Poisons or safe products – your brain wants the obvious, safe, green choice.

    Hello Jiri –

Greenbug products are non-toxic to a broad spectrum of species which includes being harmless to mammals, amphibians, crustaceans, fish, reptiles, birds, and beneficial pollinators such as butterflies and honey bees. However, cedar is deadly to smell-driven insects which is why you never see bugs in a cedar chest or cedar closet. Similarly, it is used for siding to prevent termites and used in animal bedding. The aroma of cedar to these unwanted pests is like ammonia to humans – it will cause them to do everything they can to get away and if they are not able to and are engulfed in cedar fumes, they will die.

In comparison, synthetic pesticides are known toxins and are intended to poison pests by compromising something reproductive, digestive, neurological, etc. These same poisons can affect humans and other desirable creatures. Greenbug is deadly to targeted pests – but the targeting has been done by Mother Nature, not scientists.

    Hope that helps!

The active ingredient is cedar which is deadly to pests but harmless to humans, animals and the environment. Just think of cedar chests and closets where you never see a bug… That is because if a bug ventures into a cedar enclosure, it will die. But to us it is merely a pleasant, natural aroma. Greenbug has harnessed Nature’s ingredient and put it in a convenient spray form for many uses. Go to http://www.greenbugallnatural.com to find out more!
